Terra Gardens, 400-4 Talcottville Rd, Route 83, Vernon, CT was the scene of a Haunted Garden Party on October 21, 2006. The store was busy all afternoon and visitor donations went to the Channel 3 Kids Camp. The greenhouse was decorated in goulish fashion and there were many stations throughout the store for face painting, pumpkin decorating, balloons, family photos, games and gifts. Nationally renowned artist, Karen Rossi was on hand to sign copies of a whimsical image she created especially for the Camp. Local artist Julie Mullen was also on hand to help the tikes paint the family pumpkin. Store owners Kim and Jim Chipello provided a heart felt welcome and delicious refreshments to all who came. It was a fun day for everyone!
